These pads are awesome for any new mommy! However, I was horrified by the price this third party is charging for them. $14.95 for a box of 30 is obscene. You can get them at a local Babies R Us for about $6.00 or online at One Step Ahead for about the same.

My 9 month old loves these
Between 7 and 8 months I started my baby on Cheerios, until I found Puffs. They truly melt in his mouth and the nutritional value exceeds Cheerios. He would sit and eat Puffs all day if I let him. The banana does not have much flavor, but I also bought the apple and it have more flavor. Either way, the baby loves them the same.

Great idea, but has one big problem
Soothies are the only pacifiers my son will take and I got tired of chasing them hither and yon so I thought the holder would be a good solution. This binkey holder is a great idea and it's really cute, but the slot does not create enough friction. My little guy is five months old and he can get the binkey out of the holder fairly easily. I suspect that the problem is that he likes to play with the cute little penguin and twists it all over the place. Additionally, the clip doesn't always hold very well. If he doesn't detach the binkey and drop it on the floor or in the nether regions of the car he can pull the clip off his shirt and drop the whole thing.

Great swing...overpriced a bit?
I'd done some research, and trusted the Boppy brand enough to purchase this swing, even with it's somewhat costly price tag and some sub-par reviews I'd read. (Plus it was on sale.)

There does appear to be a design flaw with the way the child's head rests in the swing. The fabric wrapped around the frame leaves an almost fold in the seat, right at the neck, so baby's head cocks off to one side or the other, or tips the chin onto the chest, potentially restricting airflow. Mind you this is still a concern even when the head support provided has been removed. (This can be compensated for with blankets beneath the child, but then the restraints are not nearly as functional.) This appears as though it may reslove itself once a child grows into it a bit. (3 months, 12 lbs currently.)

Battery life seems fine. Swing motor is not silent, but the slight sound it makes is an almost soothing white noise. Music is nothing special...but we didn't buy it for the music.

Wish the toy bar could be repositioned silently. If she's asleep and we need to take her out and move her to her crib, the toy bar being pushed out of the way often wakes her.

I bought this for it's compact size, both for portability within the home and for travel, and it does fold almost flat for easy storage. But it seems a bit flimsy, and wobbles in all of the joints. Not so much that we'll stop using it, but enough that I'd think twice before paying this much for another one if I had it all to do over again.

Regardless of these small details, my daughter still is quite content with this swing, and I will continue to use it until she outgrows it.
