Good for frustrating a parent I bought this for our two year old son for use in his room in the morning while waiting for us to come get him. I wanted a player that was safe to leave with a young child and easy for him to use. When it was working he loved it with the exception of not being able to find his favorite songs quickly.
I have two major complaints.
1. Since it holds 16 hours of music, you'd expect to be able to jump from one group of songs to the next without having to go through every single song you loaded on the darn thing. (For instance, go from Handy Manny songs to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse songs with one push of a button.) Since I loaded about 14 CD's to it, my son gets a bit annoyed trying to find his favorite songs. If there was a number pad he could punch in the number of his favorite song, it would really cut down on the frustration factor!
2. The player locks up and you need to download an update. But all your music gets wiped out when you update, so you have to reload it. If this happens often, it's gonna be a pain.
UPDATE- I decided to send this one back to the company because when I tried to figure out how to wipe the songs off it and add some different ones, I couldn't find any instructions on how to do it in the manual or on their website. The player just isn't parent-friendly, and with a two year old and limited time, I don't have time for messing with it.
Amazon wouldn't allow me to downgrade the star rating overall...I think it deserves a two star.
great so far We've used these twice and they seem to work great. They are very easy to slip on and come off even easier b/c the sides come apart if you pull on them. I was warned by a friend not to leave them on once swimming is over b/c once they're wet and the baby is out of the water, they can leak if the baby goes to the bathroom.
They are also so cute!
Not worth the money As a cautious first time mommy, i purchased this product for my 2 yr old based on other reviews. The problem with this product is that the potty topper sheets only have 2 small adhesive strips to hold them onto the toilet seat. With a 2 yr old who has a hard time sitting still and being positioned on an adult toilet, the potty topper shifted on the seat which made it useless. My child ended up sitting on the toilet b/c the topper didn't stay put. I tried multiple times all with the same result. I have now purchased a toilet seat reducer aka folding toilet seat to use in public places. It folds up nicely & stores in a ziploc in my diaper bag. Best of all, it doesn't move or shift when being used. I clean it with antibacterial wipes & can use it over & over unlike the potty toppers. I won't purchase these again as they were a waste of money.
Nice Diaper Bag This is a very nice diaper bag. The fabric is pretty and already 'stain resistant' treated, which is nice because it is a lighter color fabric. Inside is brown color with two pockets in front and back so four total. Front of diaper bag has a changing pad that can be removed if you don't want or need it along with two pockets. Also has a side deep pocket perfect for a sippy cup or bottle. The wide strap is comfortably worn on the shoulder or as messenger style. Fits over stroller handles nicely on my Graco. The reviewer before me mentioned the zipper zips all the way undone on top and that's true but can be prevented if not unzipped completely. I paid ~$61 and wouldn't have paid full price for it and I'm a diaper bag fanatic. It's pretty and functional but it isn't anything I would spend ~$130 on. Favorite feature: wide strap.
broke first day the off switch came broken on one and the other just had static. we ended up getting our kids real walkie talkies that actually worked.
