Mum & kiddo both like the Tike Tech ATX I upgraded to the Tike Tech from our trusty Chicco Capri. My daughter loves being up high, and that mum can "go fast" without tripping over the wheels.
Assembly was a snap (even with an eager toddler wanting to help); there are plenty of pockets for snacks and your change kit. The awning provides adequate shade (important in sunny Tucson) and best of all, the seat reclines so that when my daughter falls asleep in the stroller (the only way she can fall asleep), she can stay there comfortably without her head flopping forward.
I've maneuvered the Tike Tech around the grocery store with no problem. Our walks are generally on graded gravel arroyo embankments and the bicycle tires ensure an even, smooth ride.
Seat level and handlebars are adjustable; front wheel is very stable for jogging / running.
I picked orange because I wanted to be seen by cars; this isn't caution orange, it's an appealing rusty orange.
Wouldn't have survived the first three months without it! We LOVE LOVE LOVE our silk mamma's milk sling. Our son was a fussy infant who had trouble falling asleep, UNLESS he was in the sling. We tried not to keep him in it too much, but it was tempting. He was so happy in it! He is now a year old and we still use it (eventhough the 26 lb weight in it starts to wear on our backs a bit.) We would not have survived the first three months without it!
Versatile toy I bought these beads for my 9 month-old. She loves to take them apart, drop them into a container, and chew on the the little connector nub. Looks like these will continue to be fun for months if not years.
Hard plastic scratches cribs I ordered this toy over the Fisher Price and other crib pianos because it looked in the picture like it was totally encased in fabric. It turns out it is not--it has a hard plastic back like the others. I am overall pleased with the toy. The piano sounds are good, and my 8-month-old daughter likes the puppy face a lot. However, the thought of using it as a kicking piano tied to the crib without some sort of protection is ludicrous. My daughter kicks hard, and the finish on the hardwood crib would be destroyed in no time.
