We got this as a gift at our baby shower two years ago. I am very glad we did. This is almost a MUST have for babies.

The range is fantastic. I can be outside watching my two year old while my baby sleeps. I know that I will be able to hear her. Not only is the range great but it also picks up the smallest sounds, I hear my baby rolling over in her crib when this is on. As an added bonus, I have not found this to be a battery eater.

In my opinion having a moniter is not the most important thing to have if you are having a baby. However, it is one of the more useful things if you want to have some measure of freedom while the baby is napping or if your child sleeps clear across the house from where you sleep.

Great toy!
My toddler loves this toy! It is really cute, a great way to learn nursery ryhmes, and a great distraction at diaper change time, too! The sound effects are funny to us, and it isn't an annoying thing to listen to a million times in a row. There is too long of a pause between pushing the button and when the story starts, my daughter will keep pushing it. Another review mentioned that it doesn't glow in the dark - it does, you just have to find the tiny page of stickers with the instructions when you open it. I nearly missed them, but they're in there and you stick them on yourself. Overall, a really entertaining, fun toy.

Do not waste your money!
This pump was a complete waste of money for me. Only when i was extremely engorged could i get more than 2 ounces per breast out, i was never able to drain all my milk or even close to it. On top of it, for a mother with DD cup this thing required me to do some poking and prodding to get the cup to lay against the breast properly. the friend i passed it onto who was smaller said it wouldn't grab her breast either. So unless you wear a full size c or a small d cup , this pump cant realy be used. Save your money and spring for a different model. I thought gerber would provide me with a quality product instead i became discouraged and stopped breast feeding at 2 months when i couldnt get my milk pumped out to go back to work.
