It's a good idea but my baby wasn't into it.
These are a neat idea, but my baby hasn't ever taken one of these. She sort of studies it, puts in her mouth, makes a face, gets annoyed and I give her something else. Oh well. I think she doesn't like the mesh texture. I just make sure to give her bite size pieces of very soft foods and she does fine with them. These might be worth trying with your baby, just be aware that some babies might not be interested in them.

The kazoo came defective, however, that is an issue with "Oh Toy" (haven't responded to my return inquiries) and not necessarily indicative of a typical problem. The toy lights up with each 'pat' and the bottom turtle's head is a removable maracca and its tail is a removable kazoo. That's so neat! There are two buttons on the feet for a 'salsa' or 'mambo' type beats. Awesome toy. My daughter especially loves the castinet(sp?) for teething.

cute but dont fit!
I purchased the booties and velcro sandals for my grandson who is just 14 months. I purchased the size of 24months and 18months in the sandals NONE of the shoes fit...not one pair. He is an adverage size child so I dont know what the problem ws. It was VERY dispointing. The little shoes are very very cute though, I just dont know how you can guess sizes online when 24months....doesnt fit a one year old. What a shame.

Better than Crayola
Someone gave these to us when my son was 9 months old. He loved holding them and it has been fun watching him learn to "color" and develop his hand-eye coordination. He is now 22 months old and we've just used them up and I had to buy the Crayola tub crayons because I couldn't find these at Toys R Us. The Crayola crayons are thinner (which doesn't hold up as well to toddler abuse) and have more colors, but I like these better because they come with the ducky sponge to wash the crayon off the walls (my son loves that part, too). These crayons are a surefire way to get my son into the bathtub.
