best bib i've used I'm only giving this 4 stars because we never use the sleeves even though we need them. We definitely need the sleeve area of protected from food stains for our little one but it's just too much of a hassle putting the arms in. Besides that, this is the best bib i've used, and I've bought a lot of different bibs. Save your money, buy this one from the beginning. I bought cheap ones which would be hard to clean, would get stinky, the plastic would tear and scratch the baby and his clothes would still get dirty. Also, because this bib is not made of harder plastic, i can quickly slip it on my little guy before he has a chance to protest. And the patterns are so trendy! Just beware, these things are quite long. They come to my son's knees (he's 16 months old).
Flimsy farm I agree with other reviewers. The barn is too flimsy although the individual animals and tractor are nice. I would recommend for older kids (3+) who may be able to operate the barn.
Still a Great Classic The metal slinky still works like 40 years ago. Delivered in the box ahead of schedule. I use them in my physics class to demonstrate wave motion. I also use them to generate an electric field by passing low voltage DC through them using a 6 volt battery. Great fun and educational too.
Britmumof2 I bought this as I'd lost the hood of our car seat inbetween the birth of our 2 children. It's a great way of keeping the baby warm and dry and is lovely and colourful. It fitted easily over the car seat and is such a simple idea - I wish I'd thought of it!
Not sure it is suitable for 12 mos - maybe older We bought this for our grandson to help celebrate a 1st year birthday. It looked whimsical and fun. As well, we love Cirque du Soleil performances and thought it would be a nice memory reminder for the parents also. However, the spindle to stack the various pieces on is very flexible as well as the various pieces. It would take a child with mature coordination to hold the spindle and stack the pieces. As one reviewer said, babies would likely play with the pieces one at a time - not try to stack them as they would with the Fisher Price Rock-a-Stack toy. Also, several pieces have fringe - not sure how well that will hold up to chewing / pulling. For now, I'm 50/50 on whether this was a good toy investment or not.
