Nursing Stool-White I really like this stool. I had a gliding ottoman previously, and felt like it was always rocking away from me. My friend has this same stool, and I liked it much better! It provided a good place to put your feet, and is of good quality for the price. I will most likely purchase a second one to keep in the living room when another baby comes. Please note that some of the star questions don't apply because they categorized this as a "toy"...I do give it 5 stars overall, however.
Don't bother Yes this is a lifesaver, but at the same time, it is a big waste of money. We luckily bought ours used so it isn't a big loss for us, but I would say hold off. It is really only good for your baby when they aren't quite big enough to sit on their own and when they are strong enough to hold their head up on their own. My daughter really only used it about a month. It's very akward and she always seemed uncomfortable in it. She spits up a lot in it becaue the middle part of the seat pushes into her stomach when she leans forward at all. It she drops a toy if front of her she leans forward to try and get it. I think when you are at a certain stage of motherhood you are looking for anything that can hold your baby for a minute while you go to the bathroom or wash the dishes or whatever. Get something more like a papasan. We have used that since birth and she still likes it. It has good support and you can strap them into it. Really, this thing doesn't help your baby learn to sit. It only let's you set them down without them falling over. I wouldn't invest in this.
cute, but doesn't last Very cute, very little book. It didn't last a week before the spine tore off though. And my toddler is not rough on her toys. The pictures are lovely though and she did enjoy playing with it and reading it with me.
Must have baby product! I was so sad the day that I had to finally stop using this blanket because our little guy was getting too big. I started using it around 6 weeks and stopped around 4 months. It is the best blanket ever - our little guy slept 12+ hours from 6 weeks on. This blanket was part of his nighttime routine - he would even straighten out his arms at his side and smile every night when we got ready to start wrapping him up.
The Best Potty Seat!!!! This seat is great! You never have to clean out the pot of the traditional potties for kids (yuck!), it assembled easily, is sturdy for our 36 lb. 3 year old, and it's super easy for her to use! I'm shocked by the poor reviews on this - it's been so amazing for us that we've bought three!
We have a girl, so perhaps it's not as durable for boys who tend to be rougher with things? I don't know, but I've not found it to be of poor quality at all. Then again, it's under $30 so you can't expect it to last forever - we've had ours about 9 months, with the past 6 months seeing "full-time" potty usage and have had no problems at all.
Our daughter loves it because she can get up onto the toilet herself using the step and the two handles to hold onto. We recently traveled and had to use a regular potty seat that just sets on top of the adult toilet seat and we had to lift her up onto it and off each time, so the advantage of the step-stool is huge for us. She's also able to put it on the toilet herself if someone has removed it. This seat gives her a lot of autonomy and helps her to feel more like a "big girl" than a baby.
Also, we have Toto toilets - all with elongated bowls/seats and it fits just fine for us, so I don't know about the previous comments of problems with elongated seats.
